Itching for Relief

Image
Have you been itchy before? I know it is a weird question to ask, but there is a condition that can irritate your skin and make it uncomfortably itchy. This condition may arise from the use of everyday items, including soap, cosmetics, fragrances, and even jewelry. Also, once exposed, you cannot wash off the effects. Your skin feels under attack and requires treatment, medical or holistic. The condition I am talking about is a skin rash. Skin rashes are dry, red, and itchy areas of skin that cause major discomfort, which can affect people of all ages. A substance irritates the skin and triggers an allergic reaction. However, do not worry! There are treatments that can relieve you from the symptoms of a pesky skin rash. Below is a box with four of it’s sides containing a treatment option for skin rash and information about each one. I could not make this Action Project without the help of my special ingredients that are labeled on the back. I hope you enjoy! Before we go into thi

Reincarnation Rhapsody

A Doll's House by Ibsen is a story about Nora, a mother of three children, who is the wife of a wealthy husband named Torvald. Nora suffers from the stress of being exposed for committing forgery by a man named Krogstad. She has a huge debt to pay back for borrowing a lot of money to go on a vacation that saved Torvald’s life and is kept a secret to this day. At the end of the play, Nora got to know who Torvald really was and left him, her house, and her children behind in search of a new life. This play of ours must include Nora as a character. Our objective in this play is to discuss gender equality in marriages, so we chose Hera to be another character who is the Goddess of Marriage and is

You're Not My Caliber

Do you like sequels? Usually, the second movies of most franchises tend to be favored most. For our final STEAM class of this year, we will be going through part two of our previous STEAM class Disease, called Cure. In the last term, we studied how diseases are contracted, their progression through the body, signs, symptoms, and effects. What we have learned in Cure, so far, is how living things can be healed, improving chances for survival. Over decades, scientists and doctors have found cures or methods of prevention for many diseases. However, there are many more discoveries left to be made. In this unit, we have learned about the process of mitosis and meiosis, working with quadratic functions, and surgical science. Recently, we visited the Museum of Surgical Science in Chicago and learned how surgical methods have evolved and improved over time. This action project focuses on Abdominal Bullet Removal Surgery. The slideshow below will go over the system, injury, impacts, surgery, a
