Itching for Relief

Have you been itchy before? I know it is a weird question to ask, but there is a condition that can irritate your skin and make it uncomfortably itchy. This condition may arise from the use of everyday items, including soap, cosmetics, fragrances, and even jewelry. Also, once exposed, you cannot wash off the effects. Your skin feels under attack and requires treatment, medical or holistic. The condition I am talking about is a skin rash. Skin rashes are dry, red, and itchy areas of skin that cause major discomfort, which can affect people of all ages. A substance irritates the skin and triggers an allergic reaction. However, do not worry! There are treatments that can relieve you from the symptoms of a pesky skin rash. Below is a box with four of it’s sides containing a treatment option for skin rash and information about each one. I could not make this Action Project without the help of my special ingredients that are labeled on the back. I hope you enjoy!

Before we go into this any further, I must explain what the “Lock and Key” is and how it relates to medicaments. To start off, the lock is an enzyme and the key is a substrate. The lock and key are meant to perfectly fit together. This relates to medicaments because you form a new product after fitting two things perfectly together, like when making medicine or fitting a key into a lock. This is how two of the medicaments I am about to present are made.

The first medication is Prednisone, with Deltasone as its brand name. Deltasone is a prescription steroid that can treat a wide variety of symptoms and diseases, mainly inflammation.

The second medication is Hydrocortisone Cream, with a brand name of Anusol-HC. This is an over-the-counter steroid that only protects parts of the body from inflammation, including inflammation in the skin.

The third treatment option is not a medication, but it is said to help with skin rash. Cetaphil is a moisturizer that is unregulated by the FDA. It is probably not as effective as the last two, but it still might do something.

The final treatment is an oatmeal bath, used for soothing your skin from the itchiness of the rash.

I would not be able to cook this information without these special ingredients I used.
